NAACA donates 1000 USD to Yabraso residents after fire ravaged community

The North American Atebubu Citizens Association (NAACA) has donated an amount of $1,000 to the residents of Yabraso, a small farming community in the Atebubu-Amantin Municipality of the Bono Region following a fire outbreak that hit the community.

The cash donation to the people of Yabraso is intended to provide immediate relief and support as the residents work to rebuild their lives following the devastating fire which destroyed properties and left many homeless.

The donation was made on behalf of the association by the head of the Atebubu Town Development Committee and Akobiahene of Atebubu, Nana Owusu Gyimah in collaboration with the liaison team; Mr Addo Kwarfo, Mr. Gabriel Owusu Addo and Madam Elizabeth Tuah and Nana Addo Bediako, Odikro of Atebubu Mem and a member of NAACA.

Nana Owusu Gyimah, while presenting the cash donation to the community reaffirmed NAACA’s commitment to supporting individuals during challenging times, such as the hardships currently faced by the people of Yabraso.

“NAACA believes in standing with our people during their most challenging moments so this cash donation is a symbol of our commitment to providing support and relief to communities like Yabraso as they navigate these difficult times,” Nana Owusu Gyimah disclosed.

The Assembly Member for the Mem Electoral Area, Honourable Andrew Nimakohene who received the donation on behalf of the people extended the community’s appreciation and gratitude to NAACA for the support.

“This financial assistance will help families address urgent needs, such as securing temporary shelter, purchasing necessities, and starting the process of reconstructing their homes and livelihoods”, Honourable Andrew Nimakohene expressed.
